Amanda Gomez is a professional show jumper, located at Rising Star Equestrian in Norco, CA. Amanda enjoys working with OTTBs and got her love for the Thoroughbred breed from her late father, Garrett Gomez, who was an award-winning jockey. Amanda enjoys competing in the Thoroughbred Makeover held each year and showcasing what the breed is capable of. Amanda enjoys developing and competing through the levels of showjumping on the West coast such as West Palms, HITS, and show series at Desert International Horse Park.
